 | Wayans made his acting debut in 1989 in his brother Keenen Ivory Wayans' feature film "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka." Immediately following, he joined the cast of the Emmy Award®-winning comedy series "In Living Color."
Wayans has since gone on to write, executive-producer, and star, with his brother Marlon Wayans, in the hit comedy "Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood," a parody of the coming-of-age-in-the-hood movies, for Miramax/Dimension Films. In addition, Wayans created and starred, with Marlon, on "The Wayans Brothers" sitcom, the first show to be sold into syndication after heading the WB Television Network lineup for five years.
Wayans will be seen in "New Blood," a drama-thriller, in which he stars with John Hurt, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Joey Pantoliano.
In addition to his roles in film and television, Wayans can now add authorship to his list of accomplishments. DTP, a division of Dell Books, recently released "150 Ways to Tell If You're Ghetto," a critical offbeat collection of one-liners. The book recently hit the Waldenbooks Best Seller List.
