Jon Abrahams recently finished shooting the Universal Pictures feature "Meet the Parents," opposite Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro in New York City. Jon plays the rebellious Long Island son of De Niro and Blythe Danner.
Gaining recognition for his memorable performance as Drugs Delaney in Miramax's "Outside Providence," Abrahams has emerged as one of Hollywood's hottest young actors. His talent and versatility are embodied in the roles he chooses.
His slate of upcoming films includes Miramax/Dimension Film's "Texas Rangers," with James Van Der Beek and Dylan McDermott. In addition, Abrahams' recent film credits include the role of "F-U Boy" in Robert Rodriguez's "The Faculty," the character Sonny in Tim Robbins' "Dead Man Walking," and Steven in Larry Clark's "Kids." He was most recently seen in New Line Cinema's "Boiler Room," starring Ben Affleck, and Martin Scorsese's "Bringing Out the Dead," starring Nicolas Cage.
In addition to his film career, Abrahams has worked in both television and theater. He has had lead roles in pilots for the WB Network and CBS and has guest-starred on the acclaimed series "Law & Order." He has also performed in numerous theater productions, including "Sugar Down Billie Hoak," off-Broadway.
