Producer CATHY KONRAD has produced 12 films in the last six years. She is one of the most prolific young producers in Hollywood today.
SCREAM 3 reunites Konrad with director Wes Craven and producer Marianne Maddalena, and cast members Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox Arquette, and David Arquette.

In addition to all three installments of the SCREAM franchise, Konrad produced both "Girl, Interrupted" and "Cop Land" for James Mangold, Alexander Payne's "Citizen Ruth," Kevin Williamson's "Teaching Mrs Tingle," M. Night Shyamalan's "Wide Awake," and Gary Fleder's "Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead." She was an executive producer on Ted Demme's "Beautiful Girls" and co-producer on Larry Clark's "Kids."

Konrad has a first-look deal with Columbia Pictures. Other projects in development at Konrad Pictures include "The Garden," a drama set in the '50s about the CCNY basketball scandals; a sequel to "The Commitments," currently being written by Tony Award-winning playwright Warren Leight; "Alaska Men," an adventure comedy about two single women who trek to the last frontier in search of real men; "Cherokee Rose," an epic drama about the infamous Trail of Tears; "Double Wish," a musical based on a story by Rosie O'Donnell, who is set to star; "Virgin Mary," a romantic comedy to star Jennifer Aniston; "So Shoot Me," a satire set in the world of high fashion; and "Kate and Leopold," a time-travel comedy cowritten and to be directed by Mangold. Konrad and Mangold will also team up to bring "Cash," a biopic about legendary singer/songwriter Johnny Cash, to the big screen.

Prior to forming her own production company, Konrad served as president of Woods Entertainment. Preceding her tenure at Woods, Konrad was the senior vice president for director Norman Jewison's Yorktown Productions.

Konrad's film career began in her hometown of Silver Spring, Maryland. After serving as a production assistant on several films, she followed her dream of producing films to California, where she landed a job working for Kathleen Kennedy at Amblin Entertainment.
