COURTENEY COX ARQUETTE returns to SCREAM 3 as slick, stylish, ambitious Gale Weathers, who anchors the television show "Total Entertainment." "I like keeping Gale bitchy," says Cox Arquette. "She has a reputation to live up to. She may have changed her hair, but not too much else." Cox Arquette earned fame as Monica Gellar on the hit TV sitcom "Friends," where she is in her seventh season. The actress, who starred in SCREAM and SCREAM 2, recently completed the feature films "Alien Love Triangle" opposite Kenneth Branagh and "The Shrink Is In" with David Arquette and David James Elliott. Other film credits include "Commandments," opposite Aidan Quinn, "Ace Ventura, Pet Detective," opposite Jim Carrey, "Cocoon: The Return," "Mr. Destiny," "Blue Desert," "Shaking the Tree," and Miramax's "The Opposite Sex." Cox Arquette made her television debut on the hit situation comedy "Family Ties" and has appeared on "Seinfeld," "The Larry Sanders Show," "Dream On," and "The Trouble with Larry." A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Cox Arquette first gained notoriety dancing onstage with Bruce Springsteen in the music video "Dancing in the Dark."
