The Guardian, a new movie starring Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher, follows the heroics of the US Coast Guard. Ashton Kutcher stars as Jake, a brash, young student in the US Coast Guard Rescue Swimmers training program taught by Ben Randall (Kevin Costner). Costner and Kutcher bond, both having experienced the weight of tragedy on their shoulders.
Upon graduation Kutcher joins Costner in Kodiak, Alaska where he learns the true meaning of heroism and sacrifice from Costner. Buy The Guardian on DVD on January 23, 2006.
