 |  BRUCE WILLIS (David Dunn) has demonstrated incredible versatility and extraordinary talent in a career ranging from action blockbusters to romantic comedies, earning him international acclaim as a box office superstar. Willis was raised in a working-class family in New Jersey and attended Montclair State College because of its highly regarded theatre department. After numerous auditions, he landed a role in the play "Heaven and Earth" in 1977, which was incentive for him to quit school and move to New York to pursue an acting career.
Willis made his acting breakthrough in 1984 when he replaced the lead in Sam Shepherd's off-Broadway play "Fool for Love." Later that year, he was selected from 3,000 contenders to star as David Addison in the hit television series "Moonlighting," for which he won an Emmy and Golden Globe Award.
Since that auspicious start, Willis has starred in numerous feature films, including "Blind Date," the "Die Hard" trilogy, "Pulp Fiction," "Armageddon" and "Disney's The Kid," to name a few. |  |
